Up for sale, here’s a beautiful, very rare to find 2002 Fender American Series Precision Bass in Sky Blue (AKA: Seafoam Green) with Maple fretboard, Made in USA at the Corona, CA factory.

9.1 Lbs. Pretty well balanced.

The American Series were from 2000 – 2008 exactly the same to the previously and after named American Standard and currently American Professional I and II. These instrument series have the qualities that made the Precision Bass great in the ’50s and ’60s: unmistakable tone, toughness and playability.

Particularly, This bass is in ALL Original and in Excellent condition with its Original hard molded case in Very good condition.

The Sky Blue, or Seafoam Green has beautifully aged into greenish or blueish depending of the light, it looks stunning in person. It comes with the Vintage era correct 3-ply white pickguard and Maple fingerboard, a killer combination.

The instrument has been gently used, has light play wear, with only three minor dings over the edge of the body, other than that the instrument is almost entirely free from any blemishes or visual defects and it has been used or played with the utmost care. The instrument plays amazingly well, it’s just set with a fresh set of Ernie Ball strings with low action and absolutely no dead spots.
